According to the data released by Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in the third quarter this year real estate sales in Turkey amounted to 298,318 units, up 2.8 percent compared to previous quarter and increasing by 72 percent year on year.
In the second quarter of 2013, real estate sales had risen by 7.7 percent compared to the first quarter of the year and were up 178 percent year on year, amounting to 295,010 units.
