Heidelberg Druckmaschinen has signed an agreement with Gallus for management of its CSAT digital printing line's sales and customer support activities across the entire North American region.
As part of the agreement, CSAT America's inventory and administration have completely been transferred to Gallus's offices in Philadelphia, US.
The office has started full operations and is currently providing support to Heidelberg's existing customer base.
CSAT America managing director Natalie Gilbert said the agreement is a win-win-win for Heidelberg/CSAT, Gallus, and especially its customers.
"Our pharmaceutical customers rely on us for superior support and fast inventory shipment, and with more staff and space at Gallus, we are set to improve on an already great service record," Gilbert added.
Acquired in 2011, CSAT products line include Digital electrophotographic printers, Heidelberg Linoprint iD and D, which are primarily used for imprinting one or two colors on the back of blister packaging.
The range has also recently been integrated with the Heidelberg Linoprint L, a full color DoD inkjet printer designed for labels and flexible packaging materials.
