In spite of the doubling in deliveries to the UK arising partly from the loss of output due to fire at Sonae UK, German exports of raw particleboard in the first three quarters of 2011 remained well below the figure for last year. According to the Federal Statistics Office, a total of 643, 337 m³ of raw particleboard was exported from January to September, representing a reduction of 17% against the same period of last year.
