I.D. Images, a manufacturer of converted label products, has added the PolarBond all-in-one label adhesive technology to its portfolio.
The PolarBond label adhesive technology can handle the constraint that arises in many adhesives which are having low temperature ranges.
The adhesive ranges between -65°F to 150°F is suitable for food and beverage packaging applications where a label will adhere to packaging withstanding to sub-zero temperatures, moist environments and repeated product handling.
PolarBond is available in semi-gloss, silver metalized paper, white & clear BOPP, direct thermal and thermal transfer face stocks.
The adhesive can adhere to meat, cheese packaging, shrink wrap, waxy, high recycled content corrugate, and other low surface energy packaging materials.
The label adhesive technology is FDA 21 CFR 175.105 compliant for food packaging.

Recently, the company has added Domino K600i variable information ink jet printer in its Brunswick facility.
The Domino K600i consists of a resolution of 600dpi with UV curable print. The unit has a capacity of printing a range of linear, 2D including QR codes, numbers, graphics, logos and personalized information to meet the increasing demand of variable information labeling.
The K600i prints on a variety of uncoated and coated materials.
