Nissan owned Datsun is set to launch the mi-DO hatchback at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show.
The mi-DO is a five door hatchback with a 'D-Cut' grille in the front and elongated projector headlamps to provide the car a masculine look.
The car is powered by 1.6-liter 8V engine which is capable of producing 87 horsepower, and the company is offering five speed manual transmission, with an option to choose a four-speed automatic transmission.
The car will have 2,476mm wheelbase like the company's another flagship Datsun on-DO sedan, but the Datsun mi-DO is shorter than the on-DO sedan which is designed to provide better driving dynamics.
Datsun mi-DO will also feature winter pack with heated seats along with driver and passenger airbag, like most of the car in similar range.
Datsun global head Vincent Cobee said: "The Datsun concept of offering a new car from a foreign maker at a highly affordable price has struck a chord with Russian car buyers."
"Datsun might be a new name on the Russian market but its impact will be felt for years to come. Rest assured we are totally committed to the Russian market: our debut at MIAS marks just the beginning of the story."
