Ulma Packaging is all set to launch a new horizontal flow wrapper FR 305 designed for the fruit and vegetable fresh produce sector, bakery, confectionery, snacks and general food markets.
According to the Spanish company, the FR 305 model has been built around a PC processor which enables flexibility for different product changeovers, and stores up to 99 different packaging profiles.
The wrapper has two electronically synchronized independent motors, easy service access and left to right operating direction. The in-feed conveyor is 2m in length and is suitable for food applications.
The wrapper produces a three sealing pillow pack when operational, making it fit for durable and non-durable items including packs for bread, cakes, various types of fruit and vegetables along with non-food items.
Control of the FR 305 is managed through an operator console which enables the bag length, pusher position and the height adjustment managed from a touch screen.
Various optional add-ons such as a shrink film variant, a D-cam type jaw version, a stainless steel model and also a number of different auto feeding solutions are provided to support the FR 305.
Other options of the system include a 'no product - 'no bag' function, a 'misplaced product safety' function, a print registration photocell and various end of line printing solutions.
