Turkey’s import values generated by iron and steel totaled US$1.54 billion in November, falling by 8.6% year on year and decreasing by 9.4% from a month ago, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In November, the country’s import values of articles of iron or steel totaled US$253.3 million, rising by 36.2% year on year and soaring by 26.3% from a month ago.
In the first 11 months of this year, Turkey’s import revenues of iron and steel amounted to US$18.1 billion, down by 3% year on year.
Meanwhile, the country’s import revenues generated by articles of iron or steel totaled US$2.1 billion, decreasing by 7.5% year on year.
