Global Sources, one of the leading business-to-business media company and a primary facilitator of trade with Greater China, is hosting the four-day China Sourcing Fair for garments and textiles at Asia World-Expo near Hong Kong International Airport, which began on the 27th of October, 2014.
The latest trends in fashion are displayed at 1,300 booths by suppliers from Greater China and Asia. As a highly specialized fair exclusively for manufacturers, trading companies, exporters and industry professionals of garments and textiles, the trade show is an essential platform for meeting face-to-face with key volume buyers from both traditional and emerging markets.
New designs from fashion-forward suppliers that are on display include garments, children’s wear, fabrics, lace & trimmings, sports & casual wear, sweaters and knitwear, down jackets and outerwear.
The special shows and events in the China Sourcing fair includes Complimentary conference seminars on e-commerce advice, colour and styles forecasts, and China sourcing strategies hosted by industry professionals, demonstrations by fashion experts to share tips for recognizing fabrics, trends forums to discuss fashion trends for the future with pre-selected products from actual exhibitors, fashion parades by top models, private sourcing events where qualified exhibitors can meet face-to-face with high-volume buyers.
Tommy Wong, the president of Global Sources said, “Buyers love the ease of sourcing many product lines under one roof.”
"We have Asia’s largest selection of scarves, a new sportswear pavilion and fast growth in our finished-garment and fabric lines. Some lines have double-digit growth since our show last October. This mirrors the robust state of the global apparel industry which is expected to be worth more than US$ 1,560 billion by 2017,” he added.
