Air Force Has Awarded a Multi-Year, Multi-Million Dollar Contract

The United States Air Force has awarded a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract for the re-core of heat exchangers to support the F-15 global fleet to Wall Colmonoy's Aerobraze Engineered Technologies, Oklahoma City. The highly maneuverable F-15, designed to fly combat missions, is considered the premier air superiority fighter jet. "As a major manufacturer of re-cored heat exchangers for the USAF for more than 28 years, we are proud to provide further support to the United States Air Force," says Ed Ridge, COO of Aerobraze Engineered Technologies. Wall Colmonoy developed high temperature furnace brazing methods that are used extensively in the heat exchanger manufacturing process. Having also developed heat exchanger repair procedures, the company's brazing expertise has resulted in cost savings for the USAF. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in fall of 2011.
