Peugeot is offering new driveaway pricing for its 4007 and 4008 SUVs, as it readies for the arrival of two new models.
The seven-seat Peugeot 4007 SV (pictured top) is now priced at $39,990 driveaway –down $3700 from its previous list price of $43,690 –as the French manufacturer continues its runout of the model ahead of the arrival of the seven-seat Peugeot 5008 wagon next month.
Offered with a leather interior, heated front seats, power adjustable driver's seat, xenon headlights, metallic paint and 18-inch alloy wheels, Peugeot says the 115kW/380Nm 2.2-litre turbo-diesel SV model now comes at a saving of more than $7000.
At $29,990 driveaway, the Mitsubishi ASX-based Peugeot 4008 2WD Active automatic marks the first time the SUV has been available on-road for under $30,000.
With a rear view camera, LED running lights, rear privacy glass, chilled glove box, Bluetooth connectivity and seven airbags, the 110kW/197Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder six-speed continuously variable (CVT) automatic 4008 2WD Active sees buyers $6000 better off under the new pricing offer.
Peugeot says the special offers on both models will only be available for a limited time.
The front-wheel-drive 5008 – Peugeot's version of the seven-seat Citroen C4 Grand Picasso – is likely to start below $40,000 when it goes on sale, ahead of the expected arrival of the compact Peugeot 208-based 2008, in October.
