PepsiCo Introduces Two New Potato Chips Flavors Under Its Lay's Kettle Cooked Brand

Frito-Lay North America,a convenient foods business unit of PepsiCo,has introduced two new potato chips flavors under its Lay's Kettle Cooked brand.

According to the company,Lay's Kettle Cooked Applewood Smoked BBQ and Lay's Kettle Cooked Sun-Dried Tomato and Parmesan flavored chips contain 40%less fat.

Frito-Lay North America vice president Tony Matta said that the unique flavor layering and quality ingredients used in new Lay's Kettle Cooked potato chips enable consumers to taste the kettle-cooked crunch.

"Consumers of Lay's Kettle Cooked potato chips,many of whom are Baby Boomers,are increasingly looking for more unique flavor experiences,while at the same time maintaining balance in their diets,"Matta said.

The two new flavors are available in are available in 8oz.packages and are priced at$3.49 per bag.
