P.E.T. Engineering Developes Bottle for Bulgaria-Based Water Brand Devin - Crystal Line

P.E.T. Engineering has developed new bottle for Bulgaria-based water brand Devin - Crystal Line.

Devin has engaged P.E.T. to develop the bottle with PET rather than glass for the Crystal Line, which has been developed for the hotel, restaurant and cafeteria sector.

The new packaging has been created in order to give value to a low cost material with the help of a modern design as well as a glass effect finish.

This allowed in combining unbreakability, lightweight and low cost advantages of PET with character and refined simplicity concepts, according to P.E.T.

Regular forms of crystal glass have been utilised by the P.E.T. Engineering's designers initially.

The geometric perfection of the glass' elements and the designers' repetition in three dimensional space helped to create a new decoration that begins at the base. It will continue upwards along the bottle's conical and essential shape.

The three dimensional decoration of the bottle helped in producing vibrant transparency of glass, as well as resulted in refraction effect. Use of Novapet's Glasstar reproduced the vibrant transparency.

This allows the bottle to shine like a crystal in the light.

PET resin Novapet Glasstar has been developed at the Novapet pet container technical centre, which uses the conventional process of injection and blow-molding to produce bottles with the appearance and thickness of glass.

Bottled water brand Devin offers both mineral and spring waters on the Bulgarian market. Both products are derived from an ecologically clean region in the Rhodope mountains.
