Itema S.p.A Exhibites at IGATEX 2014

Italian manufacturer of weaving machines, spare parts and services, Itema S.p.A said it is exhibiting at IGATEX 2014, which began in Lahore – Pakistan on October 21 and runs through October 24.

Itema is taking part in the trade show through its Pakistani representative - Noon International Pvt. Ltd, which is the sole agent of Itema in Pakistan.

Itema says it is the only manufacturer in the world to provide the top three shuttleless weft insertion technologies; rapier, airjet and projectile.

Itema has a long tradition in airjet weaving, as it was the first to launch an airjet weaving machine using relay nozzles some three decades ago.

At ITMA ASIA held earlier this year, Itema presented two airjet weaving machines; the A9500p with the ‘p’ standing for premium, power and performance.

The other machine was A9500e with the ‘e’ standing for easy, efficient and economic.

Itema says the A9500p is developed for sophisticated weavers, as is the case in Pakistan, who are looking for superior performance and unrivalled speed.

Compared to previous models, it cuts air and power consumption by 30% due to innovative features, including its new iREED and Single Hole Relay Nozzle.

“What’s more, the RTC-Real Time Control System optimizes the blowing thus further reducing the air consumption,” Itema informs.

The other innovative new airjet machine, the A9500e, is specifically developed by considering the requirements of grey cotton market.

It is efficient, effective and excellent, as it is lean and agile. The two enhancements to Itema’s airjet portfolio follow in the steps of the already proven A9500 model.

The airjet A9500 series, Itema says, is the new benchmark in weaving productivity and speed and was received very well in some of Itema’s most important markets.

Itema celebrates this month the two-year anniversary of Itema’s absolute best-seller, the rapier loom R9500, which generates half of all turnover through a number of repeat orders.

Fulvio Carlo Toma, Itema Group’s Sales & Marketing Director said, “We strongly believe that we can provide Pakistani customers with the perfect technology, a tailor-made solution and great value for money.”

He added, “This means an overall win-win package which will undoubtedly further bolster Pakistani weavers’ renowned creativity and success.”
