Berlin Packaging, a US-based supplier of plastic, glass and metal containers and closures, is set to open a 40,000ft2 warehouse at Miramar, Florida.
The warehouse, located at 9698 Premier Parkway in the Miramar Park of Commerce, will enable same-day shipping across Florida. Developed by Sunbeam Properties & Development, the warehouse will feature high ceilings and huge bays for optimum use of space.
The company will begin using the warehouse in May 2013. The warehouse will be fully operational this summer once the construction is completed.
Berlin Packaging will also be opening a new office in Miami, which will join its Florida headquarters in Bradenton and sales offices across the state.
Berlin Packaging Florida district manager Darrin Dingman said the growth prompted the company to look for more warehouse space.
"This new facility will allow us to provide more same-day shipping as well as accommodate continued expansion of our Florida customer base," Dingman said.
