TechVen Partners, a private equity firm that provides mentoring and management resources, has purchased SensiQ Technologies from FLIR Systems.
Under the acquisition, TechVen will expand the market reach of SensiQ's label-free surface plasmon resonance (SPR) devices for biomolecular interaction analysis.
SensiQ Technologies chief operating officer Tom Jobe said with new resources, the company is set to expand promotion of its label-free SPR technology.
"Our technology has already received acclaim from many opinion leaders - we're ready to get the word out," Jobe added.
SensiQ Technologies chief scientific officer John Quinn said, "SensiQ is going beyond incremental improvements; we're providing the label-free community with tools that deliver unparalleled information content while maintaining throughput and sensitivity - and we will continue to set the industry pace in value and service."
