US Mac sales in January increased 31% compared with the same time, which indicating that Apple began to meet the market demand for a new generation of iMac.
Mac sales in the first quarter fell 17%, Apple blamed the short supply of the new iMac. Apple sold 4.1 million Macs in the December 2012, less than 4.9 million units from the same time last year.
NPD's latest data showed that in January this year, the US iPod sales grew 3%. Munster expected that the iPod sales would down 17% in March year-on-year. Apple CEO Tim Cook pointed that iMac sales decreased 700,000 units in Dec. year-on-year, while Mac sales total only atrophy 800,000 units.
