Price-Marked Packaging Will Be Re-Launched for Spirit Bottles

US-based Brown-Forman is all set to re-launch price-marked packs for its Southern Comfort brand for Christmas 2012.

The Southern Comfort original PMPs, a 70cl bottle (£15.99) and a 35cl bottle (£9.49), which were first introduced in May 2011, will be offered to independent and convenience outlets via cash & carries across the UK, according to fdin.org.uk.

Southern Comfort marketing manager Gwen Ridsdale said the price-marked packs have consistently performed well for the company, so they were enthused to offer them to the independent and convenience store retailers again in 2012.

"With value for money being a large concern for consumers, especially in the run up to Christmas, highly visible price-marked packs reassure shoppers they are getting a good deal on a spirit brand they know and trust," Ridsdale said.

For shoppers purchasing spirits for casual drinking occasions/parties, 35cl spirits can be complimented by the flavor extensions within the Southern Comfort profile, which includes Lime and Bold Black Cherry.
