The OnePlus 3 has officially arrived and its taken the fight to the flagship handsets with some impressive specs and an affordable price.
Although we're yet to review the new handset, there's no doubt it's an impressive-looking device, with its anodized aluminium body and sleek design.
But at £309 for top-end specs, many will be suspicious about just how robust OnePlus' new handset really is. Luckily, the internet is here to lay any concerns to rest.
The video below puts the OnePlus 3 through its paces in a serious durability test that sees the handset subjected to all-manner of brutalisation.
From the screen scratch test to the bend test, the OnePlus holds up remarkably well, matching the top-end handsets in many areas.
It's screen matches the Galaxy S7 Edge when it comes to the heat test, with the pixels turning white after 14 seconds of heat exposure.
And it turns out that ceramic home button is pretty tough too, resisting the blade admirably and ensuring the fingerprint scanner beneath it could function without issue.
Overall, OnePlus' new phone held up surprisingly well, even if the screen does pop out during the bend test.
If you were ever worried that the Chinese firm had cut corners when it came to build quality in order to keep that price so low, worry no more.
And if you can sit through the part where the host starts scratching the metallic backing with his blade without shivering we salute you.
