The Guarantee Company, a specialty insurance provider in North America, has selected OneShield’s Dragon platform as its new enterprise standard for policy, rating and billing system.
Replacing multiple legacy core systems and streamlining processes, the OneShield Dragon will modernize and automate a number of processes across its Guarantee Gold, Guarantee Superior, commercial insurance and surety lines of business.
The Guarantee Information Technology vice president Kris Betkowski said that the company aims to seek a single platform capable of managing business across North America in accordance with regulatory, regional and cultural requirements.
"OneShield's enterprise architecture, globalized offering and extensive configuration capabilities met all of these requirements," Betkowski added.
In addition to enhancing service levels for its independent broker and agent network, Dragon will eliminate manual processes and IT dependency on transacting business functions as well as automates infrastructure.
The solution will also provide a system in the language of preference, automates billing processes, manages all products and product versions as well as interfaces with multiple third-party systems including reinsurers.
With a combined 44 products in production across commercial, personal and specialty lines of business, OneShield Dragon comprises Policy, Billing, Rating, Reinsurance Cession Framework and Intelligence platforms.
