Pro Mach subsidiary Ossid has launched the Medical 8000S thermoform-fill-seal (TFS) machine, which offers medical and dental product suppliers and co-packers with customizable packaging solutions that enhance throughput and competitiveness, as well as reduce material costs.
The machine is rated at up to 20 cycles per minute for moderate to high production rates.
It can be used to produce various package types, comprising of flexible packaging, foil-foil packaging, semi-rigid packaging, rigid packaging, ambient packaging, vacuum packaging, modified atmosphere package (MAP), re-closeable packaging, and others.
The new medical TFS machine will provide an enhanced production method compared to horizontal flow wrap systems.
It will provide customers with an option to specify the PLC and HMI hardware as per the required environment and application.
The machine features a rugged stainless steel platform for low vibration and precision movement, as well as servo motion controlled web conveying drive for overall machine optimization and quality operation.
According to Pro Mach, Ossid application engineers design and assemble an integrated vision system and package printers, which meet each customer’s quality inspection and traceability requirements.
Ossid showcased its tray lidding solutions at Expo Pack, which was held from 13 to 15 June.
The company has exhibited OTS -10 tabletop model for low-volume production, test marketing new products, and laboratory production of sample packaging.
