Lux Global Acquires Certain Assets of National Label

Lux Global Label has purchased certain assets from Pennsylvania-based global package printing firm National Label for an undisclosed price.

Lux Global Label is a newly formed holding company backed by private equity company Resilience Capital Partners.

Headquartered in Lafayette Hill, National Label has been in the labeling industry since 103 years.

As part of the deal, Resilience will commit considerable financial capital to the new company. Also, the private equity firm has roped in industry veterans to bolster its operations and industry stature.

Resilience Capital Partners co-CEO Steven Rosen said: “The financial and operating investments that Resilience Capital Partners is making will enable the new company to continue operations and meet customer needs, building upon a century of excellence in labeling.”

In connection with the transaction, Resilience has partnered with LBC Credit Partners and The Kennedy Group.

While LBC Credit Partners provides middle-market financing solutions, The Kennedy Group supplies packaging, labeling and identification solutions.

The new company will straightaway inherit corporate offices and production facilities located in Lafayette Hill, Humacao in Puerto Rico, a production facility in Singapore along with warehouses and offices across the world.

It will also have technology to meet the unique requirements of its diverse customer base, such as conductive labels for batteries, authenticity/security features for pharmaceutical products among others.

Besides, the company will start off with capital investments, including $53.6m made during the last four years that have established an international footprint of manufacturing facilities featuring the most recent production tools and products.

Lux Global Label executive chairman Ron Cozean said: “If you looked at the location of our headquarters, you would say we are an American company. However, if you looked at the location of our customers – from Europe to the Middle East to Asia – you would see that we are a global company.

“We have the scale, the distribution and the expertise to be a leader globally, and our job is to get there.”
