M.E.SCHUPP® connects the international glassmaking market by a wide range of products and solutions for electrical heating and thermal insulation systems, especially for glass melting furnaces. On 7th and 8th May 2013, M.E.SCHUPP® shows the complete product portfolio for the glass industry at the Glassman Europe in Warsaw. You will find us in Hall 4, Stand B20 together with other leading national and international manufacturers and suppliers of the latest technologies, products and services.
Our core products for the cost-efficient construction and operation of glass melting facilities:
Electric heating panels and cylinders (MoSi2 + polycrystalline (PCW) mullite/AI2O3 wool) up to 1,650°C, brand name MolyTec®
Electric heating elements (MoSi2) 1,700 & 1,800, brand name MolyCom®
Insulating boards, shapes & cylinders (polycrystalline (PCW) mullite/AI2O3 wool) from 1,250°C to 1,850°C application temperature, brand name UltraBoard® & UltraVac®
Electric heating panels
MolyTec® are heating panels and cylinders for an application temperature up to 1,650°C. The electric heating systems are a combination of MolyCom® heating elements and UltraBoard® or UltraVac® which are produced and adjusted on customer request. They are used in the special glass industry for melting furnaces for example lead crystal glass & soda-lime glass or other special glasses as roof heaters of feeder fore-hearths.
Electric heating elements
MolyCom® electric heating elements are composed of the intermetallic compound molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) for an application temperature up to 1,720°C. They are used for example in pot furnaces and in feeder systems of glass melting furnaces. M.E.SCHUPP® industrial standard is MolyCom®-Ultra. For the manufacturing of high quality glass products, we offer a high purity variant, MolyCom®-Hyper. Special dimensions and designs are available on customer request.
Insulation
UltraBoard® (insulation boards) and UltraVac® (molded parts and cylinders) are solid high-temperature insulation materials that are easy in process. They are made of polycrystalline (PCW) mullite/AI2O3 wool and especially designed for an application temperature from 1,250°C to 1,850°C. UltraBoard®s are used as insulation for laboratory and industrial furnaces for quick heating and cooling, applied in electrical high-temperature furnaces.
