Volpak has unveiled an inverted pouch solution, which is available in the US through RA Jones.
The patented Standcap Pouch solution will enable manufacturers to adopt functional pouch packaging to revitalize signature brands,
It will allow to enhance shelf appeal, differentiate the package from rigid containers and improve the overall customer experience with their product.
The inverted pouch integrates a squeezable wedge-style shape with an advanced flip-top cap, which allows to sit the pouch.
Volpak’s patented system is claimed to be the only horizontal form-fill-seal packaging machine, which can form and fill the pouch while placing and securing the flip-top cap all in one complete system.
RA Jones intends to introduce complete and patented pre-made pouch solutions based on the Volpak system by the end of this year, which can be used by converters, co-packers, and brand owners.
In March, RA Jones agreed to sell Volpak’s horizontal form-fill-seal pouch machines in the US. Apart from selling, RA Jones said it will support and service the machines.
RA Jones said Volpak’s pouching solutions will help to improve product shelf life, convenience and product application.
Volpak system can be used to fill a range of products such as toppings, creams, jellies, cake decorating paste, honey, mayonnaise, ketchup, tomato paste, salad dressings, sauces, conditioner, shampoo, gel, and soap.
Volpak provides form-fill-seal solutions for the pouch packaging industry, while R.A JONES provides primary and secondary packaging machinery systems for the food, pharmaceutical, dairy and consumer goods industries.
