Vulcan Information Packaging, which was established in 1947, will deliver products and services by operating from the forefront of the custom information packaging and loose-leaf binder industry.

NAPCO CEO Rocky Proffit said: "Our companies are industry leaders in a large and exciting market and have impressive histories. We are excited to partner with VIP's talented management team and believe this partnership positions us for significant growth.

"This transaction builds on our 40 year history of respectful competition and allows us to execute our shared vision for the future."

EBSCO Industries chairman Bryson Stephens said: "We selected NAPCO because of their strong industry knowledge, best-in-class operating talent, and our shared corporate cultures. I am excited for the future of VIP and its employees as they carry on the tradition of client commitment."

NAPCO employs over 5540 people and produces rigid paperboard products, plastic, corrugated packaging, consumer disposables and away-from-home products.
