Japan's Exports of Steel Wire Products Increase by 24.3% From a Month Ago

According to statistics, Japan’s exports of steel wire products totaled 74,277 tons in May, increasing by 24.3% from a month ago. Meanwhile, the export prices of steel wires averaged at US$757.6/ton in May, falling by 0.8% month on month.

Among them, 17,682 tons were exported to China, increasing by 44.2%; 13,615 tons were to Korea, down by 6.8% and 5,894 tons were to the US, slumping by 53%, all compared to a month ago.
