German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has reported a 5.7% rise in its November 2012 sales to 120,346 units, compared to the same period in 2011.
Mercedes-Benz Cars sales increased 5.3% to 128,768 units in November 2012 while smart cars sales declined 0.5% to 8,422 units.
In Western Europe, the company's sales grew 3% to 47,327 units last month of which Germany accounted for 24,365 units.
NAFTA region's sales rose 11.1% to 33,439 units in November 2012 of which US accounted for 30,315 units.
Sales in Asia/Pacific region increased 0.3% to 28,909 units last month of which Japan and China accounted for 3,026 and 16,876 units respectively.
Mercedes-Benz Cars executive vice president sales and marketing Joachim Schmidt said that in November the company posted a new sales record again.
"Shortly before the end of the year we thus continue on course to making 2012 the biggest-selling year in company history so far," Schmidt said.
