Viper Networks, Inc., in conjunction with Apollo Metro Solutions, to announce that Apollo (a U.S.-based LED manufacturer and distributor), has recently completed the design and development of a new generation of LED product configurations with efficacies that can now reach 128 LPW (Lumen per Watt).
In partnership with Apollo Metro Solutions, this notable accomplishment propels the Company into very select status whereby only a few firms exist with LED products that provide this level of efficiency with high light output.
In response to this development, several Viper Networks projects and/or anticipated forthcoming orders stemming from a successfully completed pilot program, are now adjusting delivery estimates to include Apollo Metro’s new generation of LED lights that can replace an existing 1000 Watt ‘Street’ light with an approximate average of 70% in energy savings.
This recent development breakthrough will now be utilized in Apollo’s LED Lamp Products (Street and Parking Lot lighting), which is the ideal LED lamp for outdoor use that is already highly cost-effective. The robust die cast aluminum housing with its finned surface guarantees excellent heat management.
Being certified to insulation class IP 67, this lamp also functions under extreme ambient conditions and meets the toughest safety standards. Using the patented freely adjustable symmetrical reflectors, the angle of radiation can be set as desired both vertically and horizontally (54° – 160°).
In other news, the Company expects to provide several updates shortly regarding their domestic and foreign LED light installation and testing projects, including progress reports on the Colombo and Sri Lanka pilot programs and the agreement for similar projects in Bahrain.
Finally, Apollo Metro has recently signed an exclusive agreement with a leading integrator selected to identify the first pilot project for Viper Networks and the state of Qatar, which is next to Saudi Arabia and tops the world’s list of richest countries by Forbes.
