Global clinical packaging services provider Bellwyck Packaging Solutions has moved its US Clinical Services division to a new facility located at 8946 Global Way, West Chester, Ohio.
The new facility will house all US clinical services activities for the Canadian packaging company.
The opening of the facility is the final step in the company's transition of clinical services from the Patheon Reading and Blue Ash, Ohio sites, which follows its acquisition of Patheon's secondary clinical trial packaging and logistics business unit in 2012.
Bellwyck continues to work with Patheon to provide clinical packaging and distribution services to its existing and future customers.
Bellwyck Packaging Solutions sales and marketing senior vice president Greg Keizer said the site, which is the company's first US location, will improve service levels to all of its clients conducting clinical research in the US.
"Our investment in West Chester reinforces our commitment to the Clinical Services division as a key business unit at Bellwyck, and will allow us to continue to expand the range of product offerings we have in the clinical packaging arena," Keizer said.
Bellwyck provides printed packaging, contract packaging and clinical services.
