Navistar is planning to introduce new OnCommand Connection remote diagnostics features on its trucks.
The OnCommand Connection will include customised geo-fencing capabilities to filter the vehicles dashboards into geographic zones, and a mobile app along with direct integration with major component suppliers. Integration with Cummins Connected Diagnostics will provide customers with the option of viewing Cummins recommendations via the OnCommand Connection portal.
The company also introduced SmartAdvantage, a manual transmission paired with Cummins ISX15 engine which is designed to benefit regional haul fleets.
