The Shanghai branch of Winterhur Insurance (Asia) was agreed by the Chinese insurance regulator to change to a wholly-owned subsidiary under AXA Insurance, with registered capital of CNY 280 million.
The newborn was agreed to engage in compulsory traffic accident liability insurance.
