The US's Imports Licenses for Carbon and Alloy Hot-Rolled Coils Soar by 27%

According to statistics released by the US Department of Commerce (DOC), the US’s imports licenses for carbon and alloy hot-rolled coils (HRC) totaled 259,560 tons in July, soaring by 27% from a month ago.

Among them, the HRC imports from Korea jumped substantially by 110% month on month to 62,413 tons in July.

Meanwhile, the imports from Japan totaled 27,438 tons, surging by 58%; those from Mexico were at 29,102 tons, jumping by 128%, both compared to those in a month ago.
