EWG Spirits & Wine, producer and distribution of grape-based spirits, has launched La Quintinye Vermouth Royal in the United States.
La Quintinye Vermouth Royal is a French vermouth made from white wines from the southwest of France. It blends the taste of Pineau des Charentes - a fortified wine made by mixing fresh grape juice and Cognac from a single estate - and a composition of curated botanicals.
Developed as an ode to Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinye, the creator of the Kitchen Gardens and Botanist at the Palace of Versailles, La Quintinye Vermouth Royal is available in three varieties- Vermouth Royal Rouge, Vermouth Royal Blanc and Vermouth Royal Extra Dry.
EWG Spirits & Wine founder Jean-Sébastien Robicquet said: "We strive to create exceptional spirits that are distinctive in character and based around the vine and wines, with flavor combinations unique to us. Bringing its noble and elegant characteristics, from flower to full ripeness, the grape is at the heart of all of our creations"
EWG Global Spokesperson Yves Le Boulengé said: "We are thrilled to be introducing the full range of La Quintinye Vermouth Royal in the United States, an original vermouth including the controversial Artemisia, an essential ingredient to all European vermouths, and which unique composition makes it all naturally preserved and colored.
"Championed by leading bartenders, the resurgence of classic cocktails in which vermouth plays an integral role, twinned with the desire for natural and better crafted products, has given rise to a renewed interest and demand for this drink. La Quintinye Vermouth Royal's elegance, impeccable quality and magnificent taste will undoubtedly seduce both trade and consumers."
La Quintinye Vermouth Royal is available in 750 ml and 375 ml formats with a suggested retail price of $21.99 and $14.99, respectively.
