Scottish bakery Walkers Shortbread has announced the addition of new packaging for the Walkers Festive Shapes cookies line, which offers pure butter shortbread in the shape of bells, stars, trees and Santa Claus.
Walkers Shortbread president Steve Dawson said traditional images of wintery landscapes have been combined with modern shimmery 'glint' background making the product attractive.
"Over the years, our Pure Butter Shortbread Festive Shapes have become a favorite of our customers' holiday celebrations, and our Festive Shapes are now by far the best-selling holiday cookies on the specialty cookie shelf," Dawson said.
Three Festive Shapes items including the 6.2oz and 12.3oz cartons as well as the 12.3oz tin, will feature the new look, which will be joined by a new 8.8oz Festive Shapes drum featuring new holiday shapes such as trees, reindeer, Santa Claus and a snowman.
The all-natural shortbread, cookie and oatcake products from Walkers are suitable for vegetarians.
