The price increases are effective in Europe on Feb. 1 and the rest of the world on Feb. 15, 2013, in each case as contracts allow. These increases are driven by changes to energy, logistics and key input costs; global market dynamics as well as investments in innovation, assets and safety at Dow's facilities.
