Morrow Brothers Opens Bottling Plant in UK

UK-based brewing company Morrow Brothers has opened a new bottling plant in Buckshaw Village, near Chorley in Lancashire.

The new plant has received a £23,750 grant from Chorley Council for the purchase of bottling equipment, Lancashire Telegraph reported. It will support the region with 19 new jobs.

Chorley Council leader Cllr Alistair Bradley said: "Attracting new businesses like this into the borough is an important part of the work we are doing to put Chorley on the map."

The plant will cater to bottling needs of micro-breweries across the country.

Morrow Brothers managing director Gerard Crompton said: "We are in the ideal location in the centre of the north west.

"The micro-breweries don't have the volume of beer to warrant investing in their own bottling plants, but collectively, a significant volume of business can be achieved.

"We've also had great support from Chorley Council and the grant really helped us and was one of the reasons we chose to locate our new plant in Chorley."

Founded in 1969, Morrow Brothers offers new stainless steel kegs and Boetzkes tamper evident snapcap in the UK as well as exports to other countries worldwide.
