June 2010, Toshiba signed a cooperation agreement with France Louvre, assumed itslighting renovation project engineering, supply and installation of Toshiba for the newmuseum green LED light source. December 6 this year, the museum held a lighting ceremony specifically, Toshiba presidentNorio Sasaki, Louvre curator Henry • Loire Leiter (Henri Loyrette) President, together withother 450 guests attended the ceremony.

The Toshiba offers LED lighting source, will the Louvre's annual electricity consumptionfrom 392 000 degrees to 10.5 million degrees, a decline of up to 73% (as of now 3200LED lamps to replace the original 4500 general lighting conversion). Louvre Museum, also spoke highly of Toshiba's LED lighting products to maintain the perfect appearance of the building, while more substantial energy savings. Since then, Toshiba will strive in April 2012 to complete the whole napoleon square renovation project, and expected in 2013 can complete square in the atrium lighting transformation, all project will use 3200 light Toshiba LED lighting lamps and lanterns
