Sun Sugar Farms has announced the marketing alliance of its Cresbi Crates grocery shopping systems with Bunch Bags Reusable Produce Bags of Belleair Bluffs, Florida, US.
Cresbi crates, which have the capacity to hold up to six plastic bags worth of groceries, are said to eliminate the problem of recycling plastic bags or of cheap reusable bags that end up in landfills.
Made of a durable polypropylene, the Cresbi crates and Bunch Bags can be washed in the dishwasher. The crates can be used for temporary storage, while Bunch Bags for washing laundry items that are delicate.
Bunch Bags CEO Amy Ferguson said things such as baked goods, frozen vegetables, pretzels and chips are offered in plastic bags that can be reused.
"Plus, as green legislation sweeps the country, eventually customers will have to pay for the containment they're now getting free from retailers. CRESBI crates and Bunch Bags help consumers get ahead of the curve," Ferguson said.
