Temperature assurance packaging provider Sonoco ThermoSafe introduced new Aeris Series of pre-qualified shippers for maintaining pharmaceuticals, biologics, vaccines and other high-value products between the temperatures of 2–8 degrees C for a minimum of 54 hours during transport.
The Aeris Series of shippers which will be available in four sizes ranging from 2.5l-24l will be manufactured at the company's production units in Germany and Ireland.
According to the company, the Aeris Series which is prequalified to the company's ISCsilver ambient profile, will also meet the upcoming European good distribution practice regulations.
Sonoco ThermoSafe Europe general manager Niall Lehane said the company is excited to launch the first in a series of pre-qualified shippers specifically for the European market.

The new insulated shippers can be quickly assembled and at a lower cost as they contain fewer components and also weigh less.
