US-based water bottling firm Ice River Springs has introduced a new completely recycled 15L bottle for water coolers.
The bottle, which is available in green color, is claimed to be made up of 100% recycled plastic.
The launch is part of the company's initiatives to reduce energy usage as well as recycle plastics in a closed loop system.
According to the company, the bottles are green due to the addition of the plastic from green bottles thus increasing the scope of recycling.
Ice River Springs CEO Jamie Gott said there's enough plastic in the world, the company just needs to find ways to reuse it.
"Few companies need the green plastic that we collect from our recycling operation," Gott added.
"We have launched Arrowhead water in green bottles to make use of this plastic and take it out of landfills."
Ice River Springs' completely recycled bottles will be available under the Arrowhead brand name.
