Pisco Porton has added its latest offering La Caravedo, a pisco puro made from estate-grown Quebranta grapes, to its portfolio.
With a Denomination of Origin, Pisco is a grape-based white spirit produced in a specific region and under strict guidelines.
It is distilled in small batches, crafted in traditional copper pot stills and left unaged or unaltered.
La Caravedo has been made by Pisco Porton's master distiller Johnny Schuler. It contains 8lb of the non-aromatic Quebranta grape varietal per bottle.
Schuler said: "We make La Caravedo with the same attention to detail, high quality standards and passion that we set forth when making Pisco Porton. La Caravedo is another way for consumers to taste the versatility of our premium white spirit"
Pisco Porton president Brent Kallop said: "We have seen incredible growth for Pisco Porton since it launched in the US in 2011 as well as increasing demand for high quality pisco.
"We enjoy many different styles of pisco in Peru and each style offers a unique flavor profile. We recently introduced La Caravedo, a high quality and well-priced pisco puro, to give people who are curious about pisco a new opportunity to taste and enjoy a different expression of Peru's native spirit."
La Caravedo Pisco is available in US with a suggested retail price of $24.99/750ml.
