According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkish steelmakers sold around 120,458 tons of wire rods to 26 countries in January with an average price of US$601.9/ton.
Among them, 41,220 tons were exported to Singapore; 12,862 tons were to Israel; 9,185 tons were to Italy.
However, South American country imported only around 2,924 tons of wire rods from Turkey in January, falling from 15,731 tons in December.
