Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless (NSSC), the largest stainless steel producer in Japan announced to leave its domestic prices for stainless cold rolled coils (CRC) and plates unchanged for December contracts.
Its' learned that NSSC cut its alloy surcharge for austenitic CRC and plates by ¥5,000/ton due to lower nickel prices. However, the company hiked its base prices by ¥5,000/ton.
Accordingly, the firm's domestic prices for December remained flat at the same level of November.
Meanwhile, the two major stainless steel producers in Taiwan, Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco) and Tang Eng also announced to remain the list prices unchanged for December.
