American International Group (AIG) has introduced CyberEdge mobile application for iPads, intended to provide improved information on cyber risk and assist in dealing with the same.
The new application has been designed following a survey by AIG about cyber risk, which found that more senior executives are focused about cyber threats than other major business risks.
AIG Regional Professional Liabilities Asia Pacific vice president Ian Pollard said that the new service comprises the latest cyber news, real-time information on country-wide data breaches, a breach cost calculator, an events calendar and a glossary of common cyber terms, Pollard added.
A comprehensive cyber risk management technology, CyberEdge will help businesses to safeguard against sensitive data breaches, computer hacking, dumpster diving, computer viruses, employee sabotage or error, and theft of information and identity theft.
Additionally, CyberEdge includes coverage for specialist PR assistance to minimize reputational damage and restore trust following a breach in the company.
