The recent 11th Annual Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament, hosted by CCA Global Partners, brought together floor covering industry colleagues at the Barnsley Gardens resort, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, for a round of golf to benefit the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF). After a day of friendly competition, the tournament raised $160,000 for the FCIF.
To date, the annual charity event has contributed over $1.5 million in funds to help the FCIF in their dedication to financially assist those in need who are or have been affiliated with the floor covering industry. Assistance is provided when a member of the industry experiences catastrophic illnesses, severe disabilities or other life-altering hardships.
"Continually giving back to a cause that makes such a huge difference is very important to us," said Howard Brodsky, co-founder and co-CEO of CCA Global Partners. "It is essential to remember the people involved within the industry and support each other in times of need."
Floor covering industry members and supporters from across the country attended this year's event. Manufacturers, distributors, retailers, industry trade associations, and individuals representing these companies contributed to the FCIF through the Alan Greenberg Memorial Fund by participating in the tournament as well as through sponsorships and donations.
"CCA Global Partners is honored to be able to contribute to this cause each year," said Rick Bennet, co-CEO of CCA Global Partners. "FCIF truly makes an impact, both on people's lives and on the future of the floor covering industry.
