Turkish steelmaker Tosyali Holding's new wire rod mill in Osmaniye is set to have the trial produciton in May 2014. It will equip a capacity of 700,000 tpy of low, medium, high carbon steel, alloyed steel, free cutting steel, welding wire steel and spring steel. Product dimensions to be 8, 10 and 12mm for rebar and 5.5-25m for wire rod. The group's ERW pipe plant in Osmaniye is also on course for commissioning at the end of this year with a 1.2m typ for pipe and profile production.
