Consolidated Container Company (CCC) has ordered for three L42 4-cavity and one L32 3-cavity PET stretch-blow machines from Canada-based Amsler Equipment to expand its PET bottle production.
The rigid plastic packaging solutions manufacturer will install the convertible series machines in two different facilities.
According to CCC, the number of cavities for the all-electric, convertible Amsler linear L32 and L42 machines is adjustable. They feature servo-actuated stretch rods, clamp, and preform in-feed to the molds.
To make bottles up to 2l or in two-cavity mode for larger bottles up to 5l, the L42 machines can be run in four-cavity mode.
The L32 machine can be run in three-cavity mode to make bottles up to 2l, two-cavity mode for bottles up to 3l and single-cavity mode for bottles up to 5l.
Equipped with Siemens user interfaces and controls systems, the machines will be used to produce various containers, including beverage, trigger sprayer and floor cleaner, among others.
CCC Consumer Business unit general manager Rob Johnson said Amsler Equipment has been a key partner to support the needs of its Consumer Business Unit key customers.
"They have worked closely with CCC's engineering group to deliver technology that fit the needs of our growing PET platform and our Commercial Services group, which is committed to providing CCC's customers with the fastest possible speed to market in the packaging industry," Johnson added.
