Specialty paper firm Lecta has launched a light wet-strength metallized paper Metalvac E LWS for labeling PET and single-use glass bottles.
The new product comes under the firm's product lineup of 100% recyclable high-vacuum metalized papers.
The Metalvac E LWS is claimed to be resistant to friction and tear with lay-flat properties suitable for high-speed bottling line. It is capable of withstanding cool, moist conditions during labeling and conservation in ice buckets and refrigerators.
With specifications of 63g/m2 and 70g/m2, Metalvac E LWS is available in the variants of smooth and embossed under linen, brushed and pinhead.
The product is capable of suiting offset, flexo and rotogravure as well as conventional and UV letterpress printing.
The metallized paper meets the requirements of ISO 9001 quality standards, ISO 14001 and EMAS environmental management standards, ISO 50001 energy management standards and OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety standards.
Lecta also makes environment-friendly papers in keeping with various end uses.
