Voestalpine, an Austrian international successful corporation has signed MOU with AHMSA who is the largest integrated steel plant in Mexico in extraction of coal and iron ore along with producing hot rolled coil, wide plate, cold rolled coil tinplate and tin-free steel to produce high quality of hot briquetted iron (HBI) from its new build reduction plant in Texas USA.
It’s known that Voestalpine is looking forward to manage to fulfill demand needed from its existing European locations along with this cooperation project with AHMSA since they have planned to expand their annual crude steel production volumes up to 40%.
