Tresu will showcase a complete workflow for integrated inline coating and metallic finishes on HP Indigo presses, for folding cartons and synthetic materials, at Dscoop Phoenix event in the US.
The event will take place from March 1 to 4 2017, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dscoop is a convention that brings more than 2,000 users of HP Indigo digital printing technology together with partners and vendors, to share ideas and learn about new technologies, services and opportunities
At the convention Tresu will conduct live demonstrations of its iCoat flexo coater, Flexo Kit, iVarnish line and iTape.
iCoat flexo coater is claimed to work seamlessly with HP Indigo 30000 digital press and will show how post-print varnishes can be applied at speeds of 4600/sheets per hour.
The company will also demonstrate Tresu Flexo Kit, a new compact flexo printing unit, integrated to a peristaltic pump for applying high-gloss metallic, aerodyne and other special effect coating finishes.
The machines are claimed to have fast sleeve changeovers and automatic cleaning chamber. These can reduce setup times to within five minutes.
Tresu will feature its own iVarnish line of UV and water-based coating material which has been specifically formulated for digital printing line. The company will present new varnishes with improved adhesion properties so that plastic as well as board substrates can be run.
Tresu also plans to showcase iTape, a double-sided adhesive, which was developed in partnership with Germany-based Lohmann Bonding Engineers. The adhesive’s advantages include higher dot gain control, varnish transfer and fast frictionless demounting that redues the possibility of sleeve damage.
