Office Brands has achieved certification for the internationally-recognised Standards ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 – Environmental Management and ISO AS4801 OHS Management.
“While the market seems hell bent on a race to the bottom with price, Office Brands has invested in its systems and processes to achieve new quality assurance standards,” Office Brands CEO Gavin Ward told Stationery News.
“This latest initiative punctuates a process of continuous improvement that the group has embraced, to ensure that it stands out against the competition,” he said.
“We have invested heavily in state-of-the-art robust systems and web platforms which means that we can offer our clients an exceptional level of service and repeatable quality.
“By continuously upgrading our other processes we now have a formal way for us to communicate that message not only to our members’ existing customers but, more importantly, to prospective opportunities”, he said.
Ward added: “There is a worldwide trend towards quality and if we are to support our members’ ability to take share in the corporate and government sector, it is important that we support them with the credibility that these tools provide in the market.
“As far as I am aware Office Brands is the only buying group in Australia to achieve these quality standards and, along with a number of other new projects, which are currently under development, we will assist our members to establish a competitive edge in the market,” he said.
